China officially opened a consulate office on Tuesday evening in Malaysia’s state of Penang, with its consular district covering four states of Perlis, Perak, Kedah and Penang in northern part of Malaysia.
Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Huang Huikang, who announced the opening on behalf of the Chinese government, said the launch of the Consulate General of China in Penang is a testimony of the rapid development of relationship between China and Malaysia, adding that it will provide fresh opportunities and impetus to the cooperation between the two countries.
How to get there?
The consulate is located at a cul-de-sec at 28-B&C, Jalan Ayer Rajah / Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.
It is very easy to miss it, trust me, i went to look for it for 2 times, and both times I passed by without noticing the consulate.
